How does reading a book before bed influence sleep? A study investigated the impacts of reading before bed compared to not reading a book before bed on self-reported measures of sleep quality.

The study, which included 774 participants, found that:

  • Compared to not reading a book before bed, reading a book before bed improved sleep quality.
