Study Summary
This new research, which included 2,315 middle-aged men from Finland, found that:
- Those who use the sauna 4-7 times per week had a 63% lower risk of dying from heart disease, when compared to those using the sauna 1 time per week.
- There’s more benefit associated with 11+ minute sauna sessions when compared to sauna sessions less than 11 minutes.
- Researchers concluded that: using the sauna more frequently is linked with a lower risk of heart disease and death from any cause.
